United Portusers elects officers for 2023-2025

  • Most board of trustees were also re-elected

The United Portusers Confederation of the Philippines, Inc. (UPC) has elected its officers and trustees for 2023-2025, with Nelson Mendoza remaining president.

The re-elected officers include Ma. Flordeliza Leong as executive vice president, Ryan Paul Lucero as vice president for internal affairs, and Irene Tan as vice president for external affairs. Marilyn Alberto retains the position of corporate secretary, Alexander Ong as treasurer, and Mauro Arce as auditor.

The officers, along with re-elected trustees Ruperto Bayocot, Charlie Villaseñor, Carlos Yturzaeta, and Leopoldo Dela Cruz, now include new trustee Fernando Juan Perez.

UPC, a non-stock corporation, coordinates activities promoting the interests of organizations using the country’s sea and air ports. It represents member organizations in the transport and logistics industry, comprising warehouse operators, forwarders, customs professionals, exporters, importers, and manufacturers.

Member associations include the Association of Off Dock CFS Operators of the Philippines; Association of Transshipment Operators of the Philippines; Philippine Association of Black Iron & Galvanized Iron Pipes & Tubes Manufacturers, Inc.; Confederation of Truckers Association of the Philippines; Procurement and Supply Institute of Asia; Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc.; Philippine Insurers & Reinsurers Association of the Phils.; and the Philippine Multimodal Transport & Logistics Association, Inc.
