Cebu Pacific transported COVID-19 vaccines to Zamboanga and Tuguegarao on March 10 and 12, respectively, part of the second batch received by both destinations.
Batch two comprised around 32,000 doses (about 20,000 for Zamboanga and 12,000 for Tuguegarao). The first batch consisted of 21,000 doses shipped on March 5, 2021.

The vaccines were stored in a refrigerated storage container to ensure conditions are preserved until their release at local destinations.

To date, CEB has already flown around 53,000 doses to Zamboanga and Tuguegarao.

“We are happy to continue supporting the distribution of vaccines across the archipelago. Rest assured we will keep doing what we can to ensure the successful rollout of our country’s vaccination program,” said Alex Reyes, President and CEO of Cebgo.

CEB operates the widest network in the Philippines, reaching more destinations with shorter runways through its ATR fleet. The carrier can fully support transport requirements through its CEB Cargo fleet of two ATR freighters and a recently-converted A330 freighter.
