Philippine Airlines’ Manila-Tuguegarao daily service resumes October 29
• The airline’s Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila flights will operate with morning departures
• PAL will deploy 180-seater Airbus A320 aircraft offering both comfort class and regular economy class on the route

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume daily services between Manila and Tuguegarao beginning October 29, 2023.

The new route to Tuguegarao will allow convenient travel to the economic center of the Cagayan Valley, not just from Metro Manila but from other points in PAL’s domestic and regional networks via Manila, the flag carrier said in a statement.

“We are looking forward to serving Tuguegarao and the people of Cagayan Province with convenient daily flights to and from Manila starting this October,” PAL president and chief operating officer Stanley Ng said.

“Philippine Airlines will help strengthen air connectivity to boost travel between the vibrant heart of the Cagayan Valley region and various Philippine tourist and business centers such as Cebu, Davao and Bacolod, as well as key Asian destinations such as Bangkok, Jakarta and Hong Kong,” Ng added.

From October 29, PAL’s Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila flights will operate daily with morning departures, as follows:

• PR 2014 Manila-Tuguegarao – daily, departing Manila at 09:05am, arriving in Tuguegarao at 10:10am

• PR 2015 Tuguegarao-Manila – daily, departing Tuguegarao at 10:50am, arriving in Manila at 11:50am

The flights will be operated with 180-seater Airbus A320 aircraft offering both comfort class (12 seats) and regular economy class (168 seats) services.

Tuguegarao City is the capital of Cagayan and one of the fastest-growing cities in the Philippines, with an estimated population of over 180,000.

PAL previously operated flights from Manila to Tuguegarao from October 2014 until June 2019.

For services to other areas in Northern Luzon, PAL also offers twice daily flights between Manila and Laoag City in Ilocos Norte; three weekly flights between Cebu and Baguio City; and daily flights between Manila and Basco, Batanes.
