Kuehne+Nagel has appointed Siew Loong Wong as its head for the Asia Pacific region, the company said in a statement.

A Singaporean, Siew Loong brings more than twenty years of professional experience in the logistics industry having served in multiple leadership roles in Asia.

Most recently as Kuehne+Nagel’s regional co-head for Asia Pacific, he was responsible for Greater China and the successful acquisition of Apex International. Prior to that, he served as the company’s regional manager for North Asia Pacific between 2015 and 2019.

Siew Loong began his career as a management trainee at NOL Group where he held several key managerial positions, including regional president of the group’s North Asian liner and logistics sector. Before joining Kuehne+Nagel in 2015, he served as Global Chief Financial Officer at APL Logistics.

Siew Loong holds a Master in Social Science (Applied Economics) degree and an EMBA diploma from the China Europe International Business School.
