Erry Hardianto has been appointed as chief executive officer of AC Logistics, Ayala Corp.’s logistics arm, effective July 1, 2024.

Hardianto will replace Jose Rene Almendras, who has held the position since 2021 and will continue as senior managing director for public affairs of Ayala Corp.

Hardianto brings with him 23 years of experience working with Dutch shipping and logistics giant Maersk where he has held senior positions in the company’s operations in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Prior to his appointment to AC Logistics, he was head of Maersk’s Asia Pacific Regional Logistics Operations.

Hardianto has successfully managed, grown, acquired and transformed complex multi-country logistics operations across Asia, Ayala Corp. said in a regulatory disclosure.

He was an accounting and finance graduate of the Philippine School of Business and Administration, took shipping and logistics management at the Maersk International Shipping Education, and took masters of business administration at the University of Wollongong.
