Emirates commemorated the 10th anniversary of the Clark-Dubai flight with a golf tournament at Mimosa Golf Course in Clark, Pampanga on October 4.

Emirates’ Country Manager in the Philippines, Saeed Abdulla Miran, thanked Clark International Airport (CRK) for their “cooperation throughout the years” and reinforced the airline’s role in creating a strong aviation ecosystem that supports the industry while also contributing to the country’s economy.

“The anniversary is an opportunity for us to reflect on how we can further strengthen our partnerships with key stakeholders so that we can unlock even more opportunities for Filipino travelers and the wider local community,” said Miran.

The tournament was attended by aviation and travel industry stakeholders.

In October 2013, Emirates, one of two flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates, launched a direct service between CRK and Dubai to augment its Manila-Dubai route and give customers the flexibility offered by two destinations in the Philippines.

Emirates currently operates 25 weekly flights from Manila, Cebu, and Clark to Dubai, connecting Filipino travelers to hundreds of destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
