Da Nang is the third destination that CEB operates in Vietnam, making it the largest Philippine carrier to operate in one of the most popular tourist destinations in Asia. They also fly to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, and Ho Chi Minh City, the country’s economic center.

Previously, passengers traveling from Manila to Da Nang had to book connecting flights through Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or neighboring countries, enduring at least 10 hours in transit. With CEB’s new non-stop service, travelers avoid extra stops and layovers, reaching Da Nang on a three-hour flight, saving approximately seven hours compared to alternative airline routes.

Da Nang is a popular tourist destination known for its luxurious resorts, architectural designs, and delectable cuisines. It is also the gateway to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: The Hue Imperial Citadel, My Son Sanctuary, and Hoi An ancient town.

CEB anticipates sustained financial and capacity growth in 2024, projecting its system-wide network to surpass the pre-pandemic capacity by the fourth quarter of this year.

It flew four million domestic passengers in the third quarter of 2023, a 5% year-on-year increase, already surpassing pre-pandemic levels, the low-cost carrier said.

The airline flies to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations spanning across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
