Philippine Airlines (PAL) is transferring its flights covering the Middle East to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 from Terminal 2 effective July 1.

In an advisory, PAL said the new terminal assignment covers flights to and from the Middle East, except for Dubai. These flights include Jeddah, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Doha, and Riyadh.

“Passengers taking PAL flights from the Middle East (except Dubai) are thus advised to take note of their arrival dates in Manila to know their terminal assignment,” PAL said.

The airline is also advising passengers to check its website or call its hotline or any PAL ticketing office or partner travel agent for more information on the terminal transfer.

Earlier, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said they plan to reconfigure the terminals at NAIA to improve the hub’s operations and lessen queuing of passengers.

Tugade said the Department of Transportation intends to turn Terminals 2 and 4 into dedicated domestic terminals while Terminals 1 and 3 will remain as international hubs.

Terminal 2 is currently used by PAL for both its foreign and domestic flights.
