  • Domestic airfreight forwarders lift 15.8% more cargo in 2023 from 2022
  • The Philippine forwarders lifted 56.914 million kilograms last year from 49.151 million kg in 2022 based on preliminary data from the Civil Aeronautics Board
  • Direct shipments, consolidations, and breakbulking all recorded increases in 2023
  • AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp. led the CAB list of top 30 domestic airfreight forwarders with the biggest share of 17.032 million kg or 29.93% of the total

Domestic airfreight forwarders lifted 56.914 million kilograms of cargoes in 2023, up 15.8% from the 49.151 million kg posted in 2022, according to preliminary data from the Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB).

The CAB-Planning and Research Division noted though that only 86.01% of accredited domestic airfreight forwarders submitted complete data for 2023 against 88.94% for 2022.

Direct shipments, which accounted for 54.61% of the total, grew 11% to 31.082 million kg from 27.976 million kg in 2022.

Consolidations last year reached 25.594 million kg, 44.97% of the total and 21.6% higher than the 21.044 million kg posted in 2022.

Breakbulking likewise surged 81% to 237,655.80 kg from 131,248.50 kg.

The top ten domestic airfreight forwarders are:

  1. AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp. with 17.032 million kg or 29.93% of the total
  2. LBC Express, Inc., 6.028 million kg (10.59%), one rank up from 2022
  3. JRS, 3.765 million kg (6.61%), down one rank
  4. 2GO Express, Inc., 2.872 million kg (5.05%), one rank up
  5. Lite Xpress Int’l., Inc., 2.579 million kg (4.53%), one rank up
  6. Kim Gold Cargo Logistics, Inc., 2.248 million kg (3.95%), up four places
  7. Four Aces Resources Corp., 1.991 million kg (3.5%), up 10 places
  8. ASP Airspeed Philippines, Inc., 1.782 million kg (3.13%), up one rank
  9. Nonpareil International Freight & Cargo Services, Inc., 1.637 million kg (2.88%), down five places
  10. Airfreight 2100, Inc., 1.623 million kg (2.85%), down two places

From 11th to 20th places are:

  1. Wide Wide World Express Corp. with 1.376 million kg
  2. Cargo Padala Express Forwarding Services Corp., (1.075 million kg)
  3. PH Global Jet Express (1.058 million kg)
  4. Worklink Services, Inc. (888,014.39 kg)
  5. Entrego Express Corp. (834,280.64 kg)
  6. Libcap Super Express Corp. (738,255.60 kg)
  7. Fastcargo Logistics Corp. (719,148.07 kg)
  8. V-Freight Cargo Services, Inc (639,029.30 kg)
  9. Runs Cargo Solution Inc. (627,410.50 kg)
