DHL Express is implementing a 4.9% price adjustment in the Philippines from January 1, 2024.

The annual adjustment will cover a number of services and surcharges, the international express service provider said in a statement.

Nigel Lockett, Country Manager of DHL Express Philippines, acknowledged the evolving global economic landscape, saying, “Overall, the global macroeconomic situation has started to stabilize, although uncertainty remains. Through these turbulent times, we deliver stable and reliable services to all our customers globally.”

Lockett said the annual price adjustment enables DHL Express to invest in enhanced solutions, bolster network flexibility, and uphold their commitment to environmental responsibility while delivering robust and sustainable logistic solutions.

The annual adjustment takes into consideration such factors as inflation, currency fluctuations, and administrative expenses associated with regulatory and security requirements.

National and international authorities regularly update these measures in the more than 220 countries and territories that DHL Express serves. Depending on local conditions, price adjustments will vary from country to country.
