CNC (Cheng Lie Navigation Co., Ltd.) has introduced a new service calling on the ports of Iloilo and Zamboanga.

The SPX2 offers bi-weekly calls to the “previously unserved ports of Iloilo and Zamboanga, providing a valuable new option for shippers in these regions”, the Singapore-based intra-Asia carrier said in a statement.

For customers looking to reach other Philippine outports, SPX2 also provides an alternative connection via Singapore. Shipments destined for Cebu and Cagayan De Oro will be relayed through Singapore, leveraging both CNC’s regional network and CMA CGM’s global network for onward connections throughout Asia and beyond. CNC is a subsidiary of French shipping and logistics company CMA CGM.

SPX2’s Iloilo loop port rotation covers Singapore – Iloilo – Cebu – Cagayan De Oro – Singapore while the Zamboanga loop port rotation includes Singapore – Zamboanga – Cebu – Cagayan De Oro – Singapore.

CNC will utilize two vessels for the service, MV Lila Bhum and MV Danu Bhum. The first voyage started on May 5.
