Cebu Pacific relaunched flights from Clark International Airport, and will increase frequencies to boost connectivity for passengers from Northern and Central Luzon.

The low-cost carrier flew inaugural flights from Clark to Bacolod, Boracay, Davao, and Bangkok on April 21. It previously announced it would operate a combination of 15 destinations from its Clark hub.

The airline will also increase frequencies to four of its Clark routes: Clark-Boracay (Caticlan) to 2x daily by April 26; Clark-Davao to 11x weekly by April 27; Clark- Hong Kong to 2x daily by April 28; and Clark-Cebu to 18x weekly by May 5 and down to 3x daily by June 24.

Cebu Pacific said the relaunch of its Clark hub allows it to continue providing great value for its passengers, with an additional 10,000 seats per month and fares for both domestic and international flights 30% lower than their pre-pandemic average.

The carrier will also boost its network from its Clark hub and re-establish it as an important gateway for local and international travelers.

To support the expansion, Cebu Pacific is set to take delivery of three additional aircraft which it will base in Clark. These are on top of the 10 new Airbus NEO aircraft that will be delivered in 2023 to expand the airline’s fleet.

“The launch of our Clark flights today is a fulfillment of Cebu Pacific’s mission to help make air travel more accessible and affordable for travelers in North and Central Luzon,” said Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao in a statement.

“This expansion will give the traveling public more opportunities to explore the Philippines and the rest of the world,” Lao said.

The airline said it is firmly in place for full recovery as it restores 100% of its pre-COVID network and capacity aided by seat sales, wide domestic network, and reinstatement of all its international destinations.

The airline flies to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations spanning Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
