Aviation Concepts Technical Services, Inc. (ACTSI) recently obtained an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) Certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

ACTSI director of Quality Stephen Klohr in a press release said that “under the CAAP AMO authority, we’ve been able to expand our scope of work to include other OEM product line.  We’re looking at the demand here in the Philippine region so we can better serve the aviation community and keep pace with requests from our clients and their specific model needs.  We have the foundation set for scope of work and foresee those capabilities increasing as we move forward.”

The CAAP certificate was issued on February 22, 2022.

ACTSI also recently completed the Cayman AMO, CAMO, and Bermuda AMO renewal audits and has received renewal certificates for all three.

The Cayman audit was conducted onsite at the Subic Bay repair station with the Cayman auditor on February 24.  The Bermuda renewal was done remotely on February 28.

“Our close collaboration with both the Cayman and Bermuda authorities allows ACTSI to maintain the approvals for each and continue our focus on ways to better provide a safe and quality product to our customers registered in those countries and those operating in the APAC region,” said Klohr.

Located within an 18,000 square-meter hangar, ACTSI is a Part 145 repair station. Part 145 is the European standard for the approval of organizations that perform maintenance on aircraft and aircraft components registered in European Union Aviation Safety Agency member states.

The company’s hangar can accommodate up to 8 ultra-long-range aircraft for indoor parking and has direct access to Subic Bay International Airport with a 9,003 ft / 2,744 m runway.

Established in 2010, ACTSI is based in Subic Bay, Philippines. Acquired in 2018 by the Razon Group, ACTSI is dedicated to providing quality services for corporate jets in Asia-Pacific including maintenance/inspection, repair, and overhaul services as well as flight-ready storage, short-term and long-term parking.
