DHL Express is expanding its document drop-off service points in the Philippines with a partnership with 7-Eleven.

Under the partnership, customers in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Calabarzon can drop their prepaid 0.5-kilogram documents at 29 initially designated 7-Eleven stores, which will be officially launched early next year.

“The new partnership, which leverages 7-Eleven’s extensive nationwide network, allows us to improve the quality of service we give to our customers. This means customers can enjoy the increased convenience of having additional drop-off points aside from DHL Express Service Points to send important documents,” Nigel Lockett, country manager of DHL Express Philippines, said in a statement.

The partnership will cover 16 7-Eleven stores in Calabarzon (10 in Cavite, four in Laguna, and two in Rizal) and 13 in NCR (three in Quezon City, two each in Paranaque, Malabon, and Marikina and one each in Manila, Pasay, Pasig, and Caloocan).

“This partnership with Philippine Seven Corporation is important because it strengthens our network and reiterates that we consistently put the customer at the heart of everything we do,” added Eric Queppet, commercial head of DHL Express Philippines.

Jose Victor Paterno, president and chief executive of Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC), said the partnership with DHL Express, further adds to the growing list of services that customers can now avail of at 7-Eleven stores. PSC is the exclusive local licensee of 7-Eleven International.

“Not only can customers be provided with easily accessible food, beverage, and other essentials, they can now also drop off documents at participating 7-Eleven stores, enabling them to ship internationally to over 200 countries and territories worldwide with utmost convenience,” said Paterno.

To drop off documents at 7-Eleven, the DHL Express customer should create a shipment, pay through MyDHL+ and input 711CRED as the promo code. With the waybill generated, customers can pay online and proceed to any 7-Eleven branch of their choice.

At the store, a 7-Eleven staff will inspect the shipment content and verify waybill details. The staff then seals the DHL Express envelope with the printed waybills and a DHL Express courier will pick up the documents from the 7-Eleven branch.
