  • The new retail locations will address the growing need for logistics services by consumers and MSMEs in these areas
  • DHL Express is tying up with partners and exploring new partnerships to open more service point locations

DHL Express Philippines has opened 12 new service points, bringing its network in the Philippines to more than 260.

The newly opened retail locations in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, and Cagayan de Oro aim to address the rising demand for logistics services by consumers and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in these areas, the international express service provider said in a statement.

“Over the past two years, there has been a surge in demand for shipping in Metro Manila, Bulacan and even Mindanao. With the opening of these new service points, we are confident of meeting consumer demand so that they can ship globally and conveniently from the location of their choice,” DHL Express Philippines country manager Nigel Lockett said.

DHL Express is also collaborating with partners and exploring new partnerships to increase the number of service point locations in the coming months. This is part of its efforts to bolster its local network to support growing demand for cross-border trade.

“We are focused on bringing excellence and convenience to the world of logistics. By increasing the number of service points across the country, we aim to address the needs of individual consumers, and help businesses expand their reach globally,” DHL Express Philippines commercial head Roderick Queppet said.

In November 2021, DHL Express opened a service point at Mailmerge SM Grand Central in Grace Park, East Caloocan City. The express courier then launched the retail location at Smartmail SM Pulilan, Bulacan in March 2022.

The company further established its presence at Mailtag HGL Building, North Caloocan, and Wide Wide World Express in SM Cagayan de Oro in May.

The most recent service points opened this June are at Dearborne Kalayaan Avenue, Rigen Megaworld Alabang West, and at six branches of M Lhuillier in Dasmarinas, Imus, Bacoor, Taguig, and Pasay.

DHL Express said all of these service points are strategically located across CALABARZON, Metro Manila, and Mindanao.

The company said the rapid expansion of the service point network brings it closer to developed regions, where residents, students, overseas Filipino workers and MSMEs can enjoy the international courier’s quality service and global network at their convenience.
