DB Schenker leases Calamba facility from AyalaLand Logistics

DB Schenker is leasing a ready-built facility in ALogis Calamba, Laguna from AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC).

The global logistics company is set to take up 18,000 square meters of space that will be used primarily for contract logistics servicing an automotive company, ALLHC said in a statement.

ALogis is the industrial leasing brand of ALLHC that offers ready-built facilities for lease intended for light to medium, non-polluting industries.

ALLHC said the space has already been turned over to DB Schenker with operations expected to commence by June 2023.

“ALogis is viewed by DB Schenker as one of our strategic partners in this market,” DB Schenker contract logistics director Irma Diaz-Guevara said. “We are confident that ALogis can build strategic facilities that intend to showcase the quality of operations of DB Schenker in contract logistics.”

Apart from ALogis Calamba, other ALogis sites are located in Biñan, Naic, Porac, and Santo Tomas, collectively contributing over 309 thousand sqm of leasable industrial space.

Expansion is ongoing at ALogis Naic for 11,000 sqm more of warehouse leasable area.

ALogis Calamaba is located 50 minutes away from the Batangas International Seaport and 15 minutes away from the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) – Turbina Exit. It is a non-registered Philippine Economic Zone Authority facility.

A subsidiary of Ayala Land, Inc., ALLHC has principal business interests in holding companies, commercial leasing, industrial lot sales and development, and retail electricity supply.
