Wan Hai Lines (WHL) and Interasia Lines (IAL) together will launch a new direct service to Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Malaysia effective September 11, reports Cargonews Asia.
The NS3 service will deploy three 20-foot-equivalent-unit (TEU) vessels, of which two are operated by WHL and one by IAL. The service will have a 21-day run and a rotation covering Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Port Klang, Hong Kong, Tokyo.
The NS3 is Wan Hai’s existing service with three 1,200-TEU vessels. With the joint venture , the vessel capacity will go up to 1,800 TEUs.
