The surge in volume is on account of the resumption of more flights in 2021. Severe travel restrictions in 2020, particularly from March to June to counter the spread of COVID-19, halted local and international air operations, translating to depressed volumes.

Teleport handled 11.397 million kilograms, dislodging AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp., which placed second with 10.694 million kg or a 17.92% share.

LBC Express Inc. remained in third place with 6.564 million kg or an 11% share, followed by JRS Business Corp., which fell two places to fourth with 6.298 million kg or 10.55%.

Climbing two ranks to fifth was Nonpareil International Freight & Cargo Services Inc. with 3.646 million kg or 6.11% while Airfreight 2100 Inc. dropped one place to sixth with 2.304 million kg or 3.86%.
