Softlink Global, a leader in logistics software, recently announced the opening of its South-East Asia headquarters in the Philippines. The new facility will help Softlink address the growing demand for Logi-Sys – an end-to-end Cloud ERP solution for the freight and logistics industry in South-East Asia.

The Philippine office is another of Softlink’s regional headquarters following the Americas headquarters which was opened last year in the US.

Freight forwarding and logistics industry in the South-East Asia is growing at rapid pace and logistics companies are facing many challenges to cope with the changing environments. Freight forwarders in the Philippines are finding it difficult to manage complex operations, incorporate new changes and reformed compliance requirements like the electronic airway bill or manifest filing. To overcome such challenges freight forwarders are looking for enterprise IT solutions which will help them run their organization more efficiently.

Logi-Sys helps freight forwarders and logistics companies improve their efficiency and drive profitable business growth. It builds a platform to create a process-driven organization, allowing logistics companies to run their operations smoothly.

Logi-Sys has over 10,000 users at 800+ individual locations spread in more than 50 countries.

The Philippine office was inaugurated by Ma. Lourdes Samonte, Vice President – CTSI Logistics. CTSI Logistics has been using Logi-Sys for almost two years now.

“Logi-Sys has helped us automate and streamline all the processes from sales quotation to revenue realization. With Logi-Sys, we have improved our billing process to be much faster and easier. It has simplified the documentation process and has tremendously improved our operational efficiency. We are also delighted with the prompt support provided by the Softlink team to resolve our queries,” she said.

Amit Maheshwari, CEO of Softlink Global said, “We are really excited about establishing our South-East Asia HQ in the Philippines as we will be able to support the growing logistics industry in the entire South-East Asia from here. In recent years, Logi-Sys has emerged as the best freight forwarding software across the globe. It helps freight forwarders and logistics companies to build process driven organizations and run their business more efficiently.”

Maheshwari, in an interview with PortCalls on the sidelines of the office blessing, said that with their entry, they expect to add five clients to the existing five this year, and to hike their client base further to 25 or 30 by next year.
