PAL launches extra flight to Cambodia

  • PAL is also increasing its weekly flights to Basco, Batanes, initially with a flight on July 24 to make the service five times a week
  • From August 1, the airline will add a further three flights to Basco to make the frequency seven times a week

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will launch an extra flight to Phnom Penh, Cambodia from Manila starting September 1.

Locally, the airline will also add flights to Batanes starting this Sunday, July 24, with an extra service to Basco.

PAL will be increasing its flights from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to the Cambodian capital to five times a week, from four times currently.

“We are also serving travellers between Phnom Penh and cities in the United States, Australia, Japan, and in other countries in the PAL’s network. Manila is a convenient connecting hub for (the passengers),” PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna told the Philippine News Agency.

Starting September 1, the flight from Manila to Phnom Penh will be offered every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 9:50 pm, PNA reported.

From September 2, the services from Cambodia to Manila will be at 12:45 am every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Meanwhile, PAL said in a travel advisory that it will fly more flights to Basco, Batanes, starting July 24 when its adds a Sunday flight to the northern island group and boosting the service by three more flights in August.

“From July 24, a new Sunday frequency will bring PAL’s Manila-Basco-Manila services to four flights weekly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday,” the carrier said.

From July 24, the full schedule will be: PR 2932 Manila-Basco departing at 6:00am and arriving at 07:45am. The return flight, PR 2933 Basco-Manila, will depart at 8:15am and arrive in Manila at 10:00am

“From August 2, our Manila-Basco-Manila services will increase to seven weekly flights, giving you convenient morning departures every day of the week. The departure and arrival times are the same as stated above,” the advisory said.
