ONE adds new weekly service to Manila and Davao
  • Ocean Network Express is introducing on November 10 a new weekly service from Singapore to Manila and Davao to enhance its network in and out of northern and southern Philippines
  • Philippines Express 2 (PHX2) will complement the current service of Philippines Express (PHX)
  • The new service’s port rotation will be Singapore-Manila (North)-Davao-Singapore and will be serviced by two 1,000-TEU vessels
  • For the first sailing, ONE will deploy the M/V Contrivia 0027N/S, which will depart Singapore this Thursday

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is operating a new weekly service from Manila and Davao to further enhance its network in and out of the northern and southern Philippines.

Philippines Express 2 (PHX2) will complement the current service of Philippines Express (PHX), which connects Subic, Manila, and Singapore, ONE said in a statement.

The service offers improved connections with other worldwide destinations throughout ONE’s global network with Singapore as the transshipment hub.

The weekly service’s port rotation will be Singapore-Manila (North)-Davao-Singapore and will be serviced by two 1,000 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) vessels.

The first sailing will begin with the M/V Contrivia 0027N/S departing Singapore on November 10, 2022.

Aside from PHX and PHX2, ONE has other services connecting the Philippines directly to Japan, China, Thailand, and Taiwan.

ONE is the business integration of by three Japanese shipping companies – K Line, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL), and NYK Line.

Established in 2017 and operating since 2018, ONE has regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, United States and Brazil.
