MCC Transport, the intra-Asia arm of Danish shipping giant Maersk, has revised its PH1 Service to include Batangas port in its rotation.

MCC, in an advisory on March 6, said this is “to enhance our service offering and strengthen our network.”

The revised PH1 service will have a 28-day rotation, covering the ports of Davao (Sasa Wharf), Davao (Sumifru Ajmr), Pyong Taek, Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Yantian, Batangas, and back to Davao (Sasa Wharf).

MCC said the enhanced service will provide its customers direct Batangas coverage to and from North China, and continued best-in-class schedule reliability from Davao to Korea and North China for reefers.

It is one of two shipping lines currently calling Batangas port, making two calls per week. The other is intra-Asia carrier SITC.

MCC’s current Philippine operations include four services in Davao, one in Cagayan De Oro, and two in General Santos. It also has three weekly calls at the Manila International Container Terminal, one at Manila South Harbor, and another one in Subic Bay.

Besides international operations, MCC, under MCC Transport Philippines, is also engaged in domestic operations, one for a Manila-Cagayan-Cebu-Manila loop and another for a Manila-General Santos-Davao-Manila loop.
