Panga, who has been officer-in-charge since July 2022, replaces Charito Plaza. His appointment paper was signed by Marcos on March 23.

“Pursuant to the provisions of existing laws, you are hereby appointed director-general, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Department of Trade and Industry, vice Charito B. He also completed an executive course on urban, industrial and environmental management at the National University of Singapore in 2009, and participated in the 3rd Temasek Leaders in Economic Development Programme for Senior Public Officials at the Civil Service College in Singapore in 2016.
