Maersk and MISC revamp southeast Asia-Oceania loop into a butterfly

Maersk Line, the Danish global shipping giant, and MISC, Malaysia’s leading international shipping line, have enlarged their southeast Asia and Oceania coverage from a loop to a butterfly arrangement.

They have added six calls and five vessels to their NZ1/NZE services and allowed Hapag-Lloyd, Hamburg Sud, and Alianca to take slots.

The expanded NZ1/NZE services now make new calls at Port Klang, Brisbane, and Tauranga, and add second calls at Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, and Auckland.

The new port rotation is Port Klang, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Auckland, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Brisbane, Auckland, Tauranga, Port Klang.
