SCMAP said the new officers took over their new posts effective January 1 but will take their oath of office on a later date.

Llovido, from Nestlé Philippines, was previously president-elect as then president XVC Logistics’ Pierre Carlo Curay had to serve his term until December 31, 2022.

He is an old hand in the SCMAP leadership, having been the group’s vice president in 2021 and president in 2010 and 2011.

Llovido is joined by Curay as vice-president, 2GO Group’s Sharon Musngi-Ngo as secretary, PLDT’s Jess Sarmiento as treasurer, and Procter & Gamble Philippines’ Mark Anthony Laguna as auditor.

The new officers were selected through online voting by members of the Board of Directors. The Board, on the other hand, was selected by the SCMAP membership, also via online voting, in November last year.
