Hong Kong-based Kerry Logistics, a global logistics service provider, has completed the expansion of its automotive facility at the Kerry Logistics Centre Laem Chabang (KLCLC) in Thailand.

The additional warehouse space measuring 2,968 square meters has a capacity for some 150 complete built units (CBUs) and was tailor-made to accommodate the storage needs of a European luxury vehicle manufacturer.

The expansion is the latest step by Kerry Logistics to develop KLCLC into a major logistics hub for the automotive industry in Thailand, a company statement said.

KLCLC, located at the Chonburi Free Trade Zone, now has a total floor area of 20,000 square meters. Some 80 percent of its clients are from the automotive sector.
