G6 Alliance details maiden sailings of expanded trans-Pacific service

Port of Los AngelesThe G6 Alliance has outlined the start dates and maiden voyages of its 2014 expanded service to the Asia-West Coast swing of the trans-Pacific trade lane. The new network structure begins next month.

SE1 (South East Asia 1) service: APL Hong Kong has an expected time of departure (ETD) Singapore of May 8 and ETD Los Angeles June 8.

SE2 service: Eastbound, the MOL Majesty has an ETD Laem Chabang of May 6. West Bound: MOL Creation has an ETD Los Angeles of May 30.

SE3 service: NYK Theseus has an ETD Port Klang May 6 and ETD Los Angeles June 1.

SC1 (South China 1) service: APL Paris has an ETD Xiamen May 8 and ETD Los Angeles May 29.

SC2 service: OOCL Shenzhen has an ETD Da Chan Bay May 11 and ETD Los Angeles May 31.

CC1 (Central China 1) service: Hyundai Busan has an ETD Shanghai May 15 and ETD Los Angeles June 1.

CC2 service: Hyundai New York has an ETD Ningbo May 13 and ETD Los Angeles June 1.

CC3 service: APL Korea has an ETD Qingdao May 17 and ETD Los Angeles June 5.

CC4 service: NYK Triton has an ETD Shanghai May 19 and ETD Los Angeles June 5.

NP1 (North Pacific 1) service: OOCL Luxembourg has an ETD Singapore May 13 and ETD Vancouver June 6.

NP2 service: Hyundai Courage has an ETD Hong Kong May 17 and ETD Tacoma June 4

NP3 service: Vienna Express has an ETD Qingdao May 13 and ETD Tacoma June 3

PA1 (Pacific Atlantic 1) service: Eastbound, NYK Meteor has an ETD Shanghai May 12, and west bound, Box Trader has an ETD Halifax May 25

The Federal Maritime Commission of the United States announced earlier this month that it has approved the request of the G6 Alliance to extend its operations to the Asia-North America West Coast and trans-Atlantic trade lanes.

Members of the G6 Alliance are APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha, and Orient Overseas Container Line.
