President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director general Aaron Aquino as member of the Clark International Airport Corporation’s (CIAC) Board of Directors.

Aquino was appointed on May 22 with a nomination as president and chief executive officer of the CIAC, according to Executive secretary Salvador Medialdea on May 27.

Aquino will replace CIAC president and CEO Joshua Bingcang.

PDEA Northern Mindanao chief Wilkins Villanueva, former head of PDEA National Capital Region, will take the place of Aquino.

CIAC is a government-owned and -controlled corporation managing Clark Civil Aviation Complex where Clark International Airport is situated in. In 2017, CIAC reverted as a subsidiary of Bases Conversion and Development Authority from the Department of Transportation through Executive Order No. 14 series of 2017.
