CNC adds Batangas, GenSan ports to expanded CP2 service

Singapore-based Cheng Lie Navigation Co., Ltd. (CNC) has expanded its CP2 Service, adding Batangas and General Santos in the Philippines and Nansha in China to the route.

The weekly service will give customers more port options when shipping their cargoes in the Philippines and South China, the intra-Asian shipping line said in a recent announcement.

The Batangas port call is at Asian Terminals Terminal (arriving Tuesday 5 am also leaving Tuesday 2 pm) and General Santos, at the Makar Wharf (arriving Friday 6 am, leaving Saturday 9 am).

CP2’s rotation is now Hong Kong – Shekou-Batangas- General Santos – Davao (Davao International Container Terminal) – Guangzhou – Hong Kong -Shekou- Subic Bay (Subic Bay International Terminal) – Cebu (Cebu International Terminal) – Cagayan de Oro (Mindanao Container Terminal) – Hong Kong.

CNC said CP2 provides a shuttle service between Hong Kong/South China ports and Philippines outports, including Subic, Batangas, Cebu, Cagayan, Davao and General Santos. It also connects the Philippine outports and Nansha/Shekou/Hong Kong directly to/from its global network.

Aside from CP2, CNC offers four other service routes connecting the Philippines with various Asian ports.

CNC was acquired by CMA-CGM in 2007 and became a fully integrated subsidiary of the group and its sole intra-Asian shortsea specialist brand in 2019. CNC currently offers over 60 services.
