CNC adds Batangas port call to KCS service
  • Singapore-based Cheng Lie Navigation Co., Ltd. has added Batangas port to its weekly KCS service
  • The service directly connects the southern Philippine hub with Indonesia
  • The service provides the fastest transit in the market of just six days from Jakarta to Batangas, CNC said
  • The service will start calling Batangas port on May 12

Cheng Lie Navigation Co., Ltd. (CNC) added Batangas port to its weekly KCS service, directly connecting the southern Philippine hub with Indonesia.

KCS is a direct service between China and Indonesia, and between Indonesia and Manila. It also has a niche call to Lianyungang port in Jiangsu province, China.

The Singapore-based CNC in an advisory said the Batangas port call provides customers “with greater flexibility in reaching… shipping destinations in the Philippines.”

The port rotation of the KCS service is Jakarta – Surabaya – Batangas – Manila – Lianyungang – Qingdao – Singapore – Jakarta.

The service will start calling Batangas port on May 12.

CNC said the service provides the fastest transit in the market of six days from Jakarta to Batangas and “gain the added flexibility to reach major inland destinations in the Philippines.”
