CEVA Logistics announced it has entered into a new three-year contract with global alcoholic beverage producer Diageo to handle its warehousing requirements and value-added services in the Philippines.
The third-party logistics service provider in a release said the new deal builds on its existing relationship with Diageo over the last two years, with CEVA responsible for handling Diageo’s air and ocean import brokerage requirements.
The new contract makes CEVA the only third-party logistics firm to provide Diageo with transport and warehousing services in the country.
Under the terms of the contract, Diageo will become one of the first clients at the soon-to-be-completed CEVA Logistics Ruhale Taguig warehouse in Manila.
CEVA will manage full distribution center operations for Diageo’s range of products, including a temperature-controlled section for domestic distribution throughout the Philippines.
CEVA will also provide tax stamping and labelling of more than four million bottles each year.
It will likewise deliver full transparency to the customer to enable improved monitoring of the entire operation through its warehouse management software which will be integrated with Diageo’s enterprise resource planning platform.

Handling their brokerage business has enabled them to benefit from our responsive logistics solutions, and we are delighted to have them in the Ruhale facility where we can add even more value to their supply chain by managing their full distribution center operations.”
