Watch Out: Company is Suspended

After the 31 July 2014 deadline for importer and customs broker accreditation under Customs Memorandum Order 11-2014, the worst nightmare for those who fail to meet the deadline are the following error messages generated by the Bureau of Customs’ electronic-to-mobile (BOC e2m) system when the electronic lodgment of import entry declaration is submitted through the valued-added service provider:
Importer – “Company is suspended: TIN xxxxxxxxxxxx”

“Client profile is suspended: TIN       xxxxxxxxxxxx”

Customs broker – “Broker does not exist”

“Client pofile is suspended: TIN xxxxxxxxxxx”

The BOC e2m system will not mince words in telling the stakeholder that there is a problem with their importer and broker accreditation. It will encompass all types of import entry declarations: consumption entry, warehousing entry and transshipment.

If by today (28 July) the required documents are not yet submitted to BOC AMO, only three (3) working days are left to meet the deadline.

While we are on the subject of the e2m system error messages causing sleepless nights among stakeholders, let us take the opportunity to quickly review other e2m error messages:

Shipping line/airline/      –              Operation not permitted. Cut-off time has                               forwarder import                        elapsed

documentation staff

This means the electronic manifest is late and submitted to e2m after expiry of submission cut-off time.

Customs broker and       –              “Invalid location of goods”

Arrastre operator and

Off-dock CY/CFS

This means the Client Profile Registration System (CPRS) profile of the arrastre operator, airport cargo warehouse and off-dock CY/CFS has expired and required for immediate renewal. No import entry lodgment and OLRS (online release system) can be processed until the CPRS is renewed.
