Vanguard Logistics Services has opened a new office in Danang, Vietnam, as part of its strategy to boost its Southeast Asia network.

Vanguard Danang, a joint venture with KMG, provides services such as less-than-containerload and full-containerload consolidation, and sales and customer support services, the company said in a statement.

Danang, a city in central Vietnam, is located between Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh City in the south.

“Establishing an office here was the next logical step in expanding our global office network throughout South East Asia,” said Jeff Lee, managing director for South East Asia, Middle East & Indian Subcontinent.

“Opening Danang and launching LCL consolidation services in and out of Singapore, as well as LCL services to the USA and Hong Kong, will complement our overall service portfolio,” he added.
