BusinessWorld recently released its annual Top 1,000 Corporations publication, covering year 2010.
Although I have not carried out a detailed analysis, it seems that over the last five years, the number of SCMAP members making it to the top 200 has gone down.
Below is the list of SCMAP members in the top 200 corporations. Only 26 made it to the top 200. This could mean
1. SCMAP is beginning to attract more smaller companies.
2. The characteristics of the bigger companies are becoming less defined or less traditional in their SCM functions.
