New Manila-Shanghai service starts June 29

ID-100207691Starting June 29, Beijing-based Sinotrans Container Lines, in partnership with logistics provider SITC Logistics, will start a new direct service on the Manila to Shanghai and Ningbo routes (CPS).

SITC will be dropping its CJP service (Manila-Hong Kong-Shanghai-Tokyo-Yokohama) to cater to the increasing amount of imports from China via the new CPS run.

Under the new service, each partner will deploy a 1,700 twenty-foot equivalent unit vessel.

The first to call on the service is M/V Hansa Salzburg 1423N with ETD MNS on June 29 with a regular Sunday sailing.

Sinotrans will also provide export services to Japan main ports (Tokyo and Yokohama) by transshipment at Shanghai starting June 29.

Meanwhile, Sinotrans will deploy its solely operated vessel for the new SPS service with beginning voyage on July 8, servicing direct Manila to Hong Kong and Shekou Port in Guangdong, China
