Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) is to cease in February its slot charter arrangement with Orient Overseas Container Line’s (OOCL) weekly Philippine feeder service PHF2 that serves Hong Kong and Shekou.

MOL will now call at Manila on charter slots with Hanjin Shipping’s Korea-Philippines-Indonesia service and with the Manila Express service run jointly by APL and Hyundai Merchant Marine.

The PHF2 service will continue to operate with one vessel from OOCL with a capacity of 2,700 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of container. It will continue with its current port rotation of Hong Kong, Shekou, Manila and Hong Kong but will drop one sailing position to Hong Kong from February 2, 2012.
