Singapore-based MCC Transport will discontinue its export and import service to and from Sibu, Malaysia, which it said was “part of our service rationalization process.”

The last feeder departure for exports will be July 31, while import cargoes that are accepted prior to August 1 will be delivered as scheduled, the company said in a media release.

The carrier added that it will continue to serve these ports in East Malaysia: Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Bintulu, and Tawau.

MCC Transport is an intra-Asia cargo carrier for the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group and a provider of feeder services for various regional and global shipping lines.
