The Singapore logistics control center (LCC) was opened officially at the beginning of this month, raising the company’s logistics control centers to seven locations across the globe that are responsible for developing and managing integrated logistics services across key markets.
In the Asia-Pacific region, the countries of particular focus are Australia, China, India, Japan, and Singapore.
“The new development marks an important milestone for us in Asia-Pacific,” said Detlef Trefzger, group CEO. “Leveraging on our new platform in Singapore, our customers can focus on their core competences while constantly improving their supply chain performance, reducing transaction costs, and increasing efficiencies in today’s dynamic marketplace.”
