Greencarrier Freight Services has signed a cooperation agreement with Turkey’s leading logistics company, Ekol Logistics. The agreement covers Sweden, the Baltic states and Turkey, and will provide a range of services for Greencarrier customers having a need for transportation services between these two regions.

According to Peter Nevhagen, CEO of Greencarrier Freight Services International, Ekol Logistics will become a strong partner with great potential for new transport solutions.

“With its integrated logistics services, Ekol offers efficient supply chain management from a single source. Thanks to flexible supply chain solutions and timely utilization of opportunities, customers gain significant competitive advantages. With its 3,800 employees in Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Izmir and Mersin, Ekol operates approximately 2,000 mega trailers.

“With this partnership, we now have a fantastic opportunity to offer daily freight services to and from Turkey. We will offer road, sea and intermodal traffic in a cost effective and environmentally friendly way, combining sea, rail and road freight so as to meet demands from our customers,” Nevhagen said.

Greencarrier will also provide its customers with Track & Trace, which will make it possible to follow the trailer throughout its journey. Nevhagen continued: “The cooperation has already started and we believe we can offer the best transport solutions between Sweden and Turkey, making the future look very positive.”
