France-based freight forwarder Geodis Wilson has opened a new fully integrated logistics center in Singapore as part of its business expansion across the Asia-Pacific.

Located close to Jurong Harbour on Singapore’s West Coast, the center provides easy access to Singapore’s west bridge for cross-border trucking services, and is just 50 minutes from Singapore’s Changi Airport, 10 minutes from Jurong Port, and 30 minutes from downtown Singapore.

The Jurong facility has 5,900 square meters of space with 18 loading bays, the company said. Services include storage, labeling, pick and pack, and kitting.

The facility will serve customers who want to combine cargo from elsewhere in Asia-Pacific and distribute the goods throughout the country or region. It will help them reduce lead times and avoid delivery delays by allowing customization for local markets before products are sent to their final destination.
