Celebrating its 15th year this month, Quickflo Forwarders, Inc continues to expand operations despite uncertainties in the global economy.

Reflecting this expansionary mood is its P10-million investment in a 1,000-square-meter warehouse that will be inaugurated before yearend. The facility is adjacent to the company headquarters in QFI Bldg in Multinational Avenue, Moonwalk, Parañaque City, where the first warehouse is also located.

In addition to facilities expansion, the company is hiring more personnel to beef up its international freight forwarding and customs brokerage services. Those that are already employed by the company further hone their skills through participation in in house-sponsored training and seminars both here and abroad.

Moving forward, the company expressed optimism that business in general will be positive given that the Philippine economy is currently one of the stronger ones in Asia.

Quickflo president Corazon Kalinga said the company is up to any challenge knowing that its core values of hard work and determination as well as a commitment to personalized services will always keep the company in good stead.

In the past, Kalinga said the company has had to deal with fierce competition and tight market pricing but it has “responded by way of improved and value-added services.”

She added, “Everyday we look forward to lifting our service level commitments and not just maintaining them. We understand only too well that with different customers come different approaches.”

Quickflo is affiliated with two international freight forwarder associations — Global Logistics Associates and Air Menzies International. In the Philippines, it has partners in 13 major air and seaports, including Clark and Subic, Cebu and Batangas. It also has its own office in Cebu and will soon branch out to other outports in the south.
