General rate increase for trans-Pacific trade

Cosco Container Lines would like to announce general rate increases for all shipments from Far East and Indian Subcontinent countries to the U.S. and Canada (eastbound) effective March 15, 2012.

The details of the GRI are as follows:

For USA Trade:
Per 20′ CTR                         US$240
Per 40′ CTR                         US$300
Per 40′ HIGH CUBE CTR  US$340
Per 45′ CTR                         US$380

For Canada Trade:
Per 20′ CTR                         US$320
Per 40′ CTR                         US$400
Per 40′ HIGH CUBE CTR  US$450
Per 45′ CTR                         US$506

Far East & Indian Sub-continent: Bangladesh, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China Hong Kong, China Macao, China Mainland, China Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

Rate restoration adjustment for Far East to Indian Sub-continent trade

Cosco Container Lines would like to announce a rate restoration adjustment for all shipments from the Far East to the Indian Sub-continent trade to take effect from March 1, 2012.

The details of the RR are as follows:

US$150 per TEU to take effect from March 1, 2012.
US$150 per TEU to take effect from March 15, 2012.

Far East: China Mainland, China Hong Kong, China Taiwan, China Macao, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Indian Sub-continent: India, Pakistan.

Rate restoration adjustment for Far East to Middle East trade

Cosco Container Lines would like to announce a rate restoration adjustment for all shipments from the Far East to the Red Sea and Persian Gulf trade to take effect from March 1, 2012.

The details of the RR are as follows:

US$500 per TEU for Far East to Persian Gulf Trade
US$300 per TEU for Far East to Red Sea Trade

Far East: China Mainland, China Hong Kong, China Taiwan, China Macao, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Persian Gulf: Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia (Persian Gulf Coastal), Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Red Sea: Saudi Arabia (Red Sea Coastal), Yemen, Jordan, Egypt and Sudan.
