BOC to auction off used cars, various merchandise

id-100211075Forty-six containers holding various items like used vehicles and electronic bikes (e-bikes) as well as computers and parts will be sold by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in a public auction on December 14 at the Manila International Container Port (MICP).

The BOC-MICP Auction and Cargo Disposal Division is expecting to collect more than P27.745 million in revenue for the goods to be bid out in 24 lots.

Included are three forty-foot containers containing one electric car and nine electric passenger multicabs, two scooter bikes, and one all-terrain vehicle, with a floor price of P1.028 million.

Three e-bikes with a floor price of P60,000 will also be sold off.

Other vehicles included in the auction are a used Honda CRV 2000 model priced at P150,000; a used Toyota car 1986 model valued at P36,000; one Chevrolet Venture with a floor price of P30,000; and two used passenger cars (Hyundai Starex ambulance 2003 model) with a floor price of P848,000.

One forty-foot container of computer CPUs and parts, such as computer mice and keyboards, with a floor price of P3.360 million, will also be up for grabs.

Set for bidding off too are two forty-foot containers of Alejandrino I, a wine product of Spain, with a floor price of P1.901 million.

Other items to be auctioned include glass bottles, golf bags, galvanized steel sheets, and apparel.

Public viewing of the merchandise and the pre-bid conference are scheduled on December 12 and 13.
