2GO, the logistics arm of Aboitiz Transport System (ATS), is now offering more frequent services to Mindanao, particularly Davao, Butuan and General Santos.

Weekly direct services from Manila to Davao and General Santos City, and vice versa, and twice-weekly services to and from Butuan using the SuperFerry 21 are now in effect.

Davao and Butuan produce the bulk of the Philippines’ banana and pineapple shipments while General Santos is the country’s main source of cattle and hogs.

Aside from the three destinations, 2GO also began servicing Surigao in support of expanding business opportunities in the CARAGA region comprising Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.

“We have improved speed, reliability, and efficiency in our service in Mindanao with the additional frequency to these key destinations,” 2GO chief executive officer Susan Valdez said. “This is our way of helping small and medium businessmen all over the country. We want to give them greater access to cost-effective but reliable transport solutions.”
